Family members and friends gathered Friday night to remember a Rochester teenager.

The medical examiner's office says Sterling Williams' body was found in the Genesee River Thursday morning. He had been missing since Sunday.

Williams' family gathered at Genesee Valley Park on Friday, that's the last place he was seen. We spoke with his great-grandmother and she shared her memories.

Izora Wilcox, says "I think he was taken too early in life. I wish he could have stayed on earth longer and went to school and went to college and made something out of his life and been an example for his other siblings."

At this point, officials have not released the official cause of his death.
