We have an update to a story that got the attention of a lot of college students and their parents.
According to The Wall Street Journal, Saint John Fisher College is one of 200 schools that will now offer a new exit exam. News10NBC first reported about the “Collegiate Learning Assessment" on Monday. It’s meant to show employers all the skills you've gained in college, instead of just a GPA.
The Wall Street Journal says the exam doesn't test your knowledge in a particular subject. Instead, you'll be asked to demonstrate critical thinking, reasoning and communication.
The voluntary, 90-minute exam will cost about $35. Many schools will cover that cost.
