More than 700 cyclists were biking up Bristol Mountain this morning as they took part in the 14th annual Highlander Cycle Tour.
Officials tell News10NBC that the event features five routes for riders to choose from of varying length. Two of those routes were 100 miles in length and the other three ranged between 11 to 41 miles.The race includes the Mountaineer course which is a ride up the south side of the mountain.
Saturday's event raised funds for several charitable organizations including Mercy Flight, the South Bristol Historical Society, Scott Delforte Memorial Foundation, GVH Elite Running Club and the Crescent Trail Association.
