One year ago today, a Rochester mother of seven was killed in a house fire.

Monday night, Chandra Majors' family and friends came together to remember the 38-year-old. Mourners released balloons into the sky, in front of the home on Pierpont Street where she died.

Majors' Daughter Alexis says she won't be forgotten.

“Her legacy will live on. We love her. Her seven kids still need her here. We need justice to be served. She didn't deserve that and she deserves to live in peace.”

We have an email into the Rochester Police Department for an update on the investigation into the fire, that was ruled arson. And we will bring you any updates from them when they become available
