Local Red Cross volunteers will leave for Colorado Tuesday to assist in the recovery efforts after the massive flooding in the Boulder area.
Red Cross officials tell News10NBC that Lucille Frisciano of Webster and Bippin Shaw of Rochester will leave the Rochester International Airport Tuesday afternoon. Both will serve as Health Service Managers.
Officials also say that Ferris Todd of Canandaigua will deploy Thursday as a Disaster Mental Health volunteer.
Red Cross officials say that as of Sunday night, as many as 1,000 people were staying in shelters across the state, and that more than 7,100 meals have been served.
