Further south in Seneca County, voters were in favor of a purposed merger between the Romulus School District and the South Seneca School District. Voters in Romulus approve of the proposed merger: 268 to 242. In South Seneca, residents appear to overwhelming support the merger, with 473 voting yes and only 86 voting against the merger.
Again, the straw votes are only a survey of voter support and no mergers were approved or defeated on Tuesday. We will keep tracking both of these proposals and bring you new details as they become available.
