A fallen marine was remembered Thursday afternoon.
Community members came together to honor Lance Corporal Brian Schramm. Schramm was just 22-years-old when he was killed in Iraq back in 2004.
On Thursday, leaders unveiled a permanent tribute to the fallen marine from Greece. The post office on Latta Road was dedicated and named after Schramm.
Mary Ellen Schramm, Brian's mother, said, "Nine years ago, our family was in a dark place with little hope and we as a family never knew when we would come home again with heart felt gratitude hope, love and reason to go on and he wouldn't be here today. If it wasn't for supportive family, community, our friends and this town has made us better people."
There is already a small plaque in memory of Schramm inside the post office.
