Eager consumers are already making their lists and checking them twice as Black Friday nears.
As a result, retailers are preparing to pull out all the stops to get a jump-start on pre-sales like never before.
According to a preliminary Black Friday survey, up to 140-million people plan to or will shop over the long Thanksgiving weekend in search of hot holiday deals. And of those surveyed, more than 23-percent or 33-million consumers say they plan to shop on Thanksgiving Day.
However, Black Friday will still be the biggest day of the shopping frenzy with approximately 97-million planning to flock to the stores.
