Be careful when charging your phone at public place

Free cell phone charging stations are popping up in public places but experts say approach with caution because it could be the perfect spot to have your phone hacked.

If you use a phone that can charge through a USB cable, tech experts say that hackers can easily access your files while you charge and even plant malicious software on your device.

Experts say to use your phone's power adapter, not the USB cord, when you're charging at a public station.
