A 45-year-old man is facing a number of felony charges after police in Livingston County say he broke into a home and stole six long guns.
Matthew Bartlett, of Wayland, is facing a slew of charges, including burglary, criminal possession of a weapon and criminal sale of a weapon.
Deputies say he broke into a Springwater home on Christmas Day and stole the guns, then sold two of them.
Bartlett was arraigned in Springwater Town Court. He's being held at the Livingston County Jail without bail.
The Livingston County Sheriff's Office says it's investigated a number of burglaries involving stolen guns recently and it's reminding people to use a gun safe and always lock your doors.
