Starting with the 2015 season, the Monroe County Parks Department will take over maintenance for its three public golf courses – Durand Eastman Park, Genesee Valley Park and Churchville Park.
The County’s current management and operating contract with Jack Tindal, Inc. expires in December 2014.
County Executive Maggie Brooks said, “We are excited about the future of golf at our County courses and the many new opportunities that these changes will provide for local golfers. This new approach will offer quality and affordable golf for residents, especially youth, seniors, and those living with disabilities, while simultaneously protecting local taxpayers.”
County officials say they are now accepting applications from qualified entities to manage and provide customer related golf course services. Submissions are due by February 7. Click here for more information.
