Albany has taken one more step towards the goal of putting casinos on non-Indian land in New York State. Three members have been appointed to a state board to select casino operators.

Two more members still need to be named. The board will then be responsible for reviewing applications and selecting locations for non-Indian casinos in New York.

There's been word of Henrietta being one of the locations. Casino sites and operators are expected to be announced in the early fall.
