Next week has been officially proclaimed "Teddi Dance for Love" week in Monroe County. It's all in anticipation of St. John Fisher College's Dance for Love to benefit Camp Good Days.
To kickoff the Dance for Love celebration, the "Very Beary Brunch" was held at St. John Fisher Friday. The dance features 24 hour straight of dancing, each hour with a difficult theme.
It can be exhausting, but Fisher students say it's all worth it to help out the kids at Camp Good Days.
Olivia Gosdack and Jenny Keeler, said, "You're dancing through the night, you're so tired, you just want to sit down, there are points where you're so angry at everybody who comes up to you because you're so tired but as soon as the campers come on Saturday you forget all of that and you're watching them and all their energy as they come in and that gives all of us energy and that's when everybody really realizes why they're dancing."
The 32nd annual Teddi Dance for Love will be held February 21 and 22. To date, the dance has raised over $900,000 for the children at Camp Good Days.
