Local business celebrates 150 Years

A local business is celebrating a big birthday. “Fee Brothers” is a local maker of cocktail mixes, syrups and other drink ingredients is celebrating 150 years in business.

A celebration was held Friday at the business on Portland Avenue in the city. There was also a ribbon cutting for an addition to the business's warehouse. News10NBC asked one of the owners what the key to 150 years of success is.

Joseph Fee, Fee Brothers, said, “Each generation has done something a little bit different with the business, taking it in a slightly different direction, recognizing the new trends.”

State Senator Ted O’Brien was at the celebration. He also took a tour of the facility. He says it’s exciting to see businesses be successful for so long and a good sign for the economy in New York.
