News10NBC has learned new information about a triple homicide investigation in the 800 block of Chili Avenue.
The last of the three bodies was removed from the apartment here on Chili Avenue. Meanwhile, a host of people who told Lynette Adams, they are related to the people who live in that apartment, sat in cars along Genesee Park Boulevard, waiting for Rochester Police to come and talk to them. That didn't happen and finally people left.
Police haven’t confirmed the identities to News10NBC.
There are several apartments in the house. Police say the bodies were in one of the upstairs apartments.
On Monday morning, News10NBC saw a woman become distraught after she spoke to police. We heard from several different people that two of the people killed are women and one is a man. Police have not confirmed that.
Police say one of the bodies was found by a relative who came by the house Monday morning. Police say they were called, searched the apartment and found two others.
Students at School No. 44, which is across the street from the scene, were in shelter-in-place mode Monday. School officials say there were no impact to school activities.
Right now, Chili Ave is now closed to all traffic between Genesee Park Boulevard and Westgate Terrace.
