Officials at Roberts Wesleyan College broke ground on a new building. The 40,000 square foot building will house the school's science and nursing programs.

We’re told it will include state-of-the-art technology for students, simulation laboratories and an experimental greenhouse for students.

The school's president says this is a big step forward for the school that has already advanced so much.

John Martin, Roberts Wesleyan College President, said, “We have totally renovated or built brand new every single academic building on this campus over the last 15 years, so we really have a transformed campus and in a sense a brand new campus which is somewhat unusual for colleges of our size.”

The new building will also be equipped for distance learning and will support online course delivery. It will be complete by august of next year.
