Irondequoit firefighter involved in crash

News10NBC is following an investigation into a car crash involving an Irondequoit firefighter this past Saturday.

The chief of the St. Paul Fire Department confirmed to us that a firefighter in uniform was involved and that his company responded to the call on St. Paul Street. He also tells us the firefighter was taken to the hospital with injuries. The chief would not give us anymore information than that. Irondequoit Police also would not give us any information about the crash.

We're trying to find out what caused the crash how badly the firefighter was injured and what his status is with the fire department. All questions that remain unanswered. we'll be following this story tomorrow and bring you updates as we get them.
