Toys meant to go to needy children during the holidays were ruined by flood waters in Penn Yan. News10NBC has learned that Gary the Happy Pirate, of the Pirate Toy Fund, plans to help replenish those damaged toys.

Gary the Happy Pirate said, “Two years ago, we went to Staten Island and helped out with Hurricane Sandy. So I feel that this is even closer to home and we should help. We’re right here.”

Gary says he can easily get 500 toys to Penn Yan right now. Then, he’ll plan for more to cover the holiday donations.
