Rochester man found guilty of attempted murder

It’s a guilty verdict in a case that involved a pregnant teenager being shot.

A Monroe County jury has found 24-year-old Samuel Smith guilty of attempted murder in a shooting that happened on Danforth Street in the Rochester in May 2013.
Police say Smith shot the 17-year-old girl in the stomach. Thankfully, the teen and her unborn child survived.

Smith faces up to 30 years in prison when sentenced on July 2.
