If you've noticed your mail arriving later and later you're not alone.
The U.S. Postal Service says its shrinking workforce means letter carriers are forced to work longer hours and into the evening. The post office also blames inclement weather, traffic issues, as well as seasonal fluctuations in mail volume for deliveries after 5 p.m.
Last year, mail was delivered late 38-percent of the time compared to 25-percent in 2011.
