A 33-year-old East Bloomfield man is facing charges after sheriff’s deputies say he was drunk and driving at speeds close to 100 miles per hour.
Raymond Walters is charged with felony DWI, speeding, reckless driving and unlawful possession of marijuana.
Investigators say a deputy on routine patrol saw a vehicle speeding in the Town of Lima on Saturday. Deputies say radar confirmed the vehicle driven by Walters was travelling 98 miles per hour.
We’re told Walters submitted to a Breathalyzer and had a BAC of .15-percent. He was convicted of DWI in 2005 which makes this arrest a felony.
Walters was arraigned and is being held in the Livingston County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash bail. He’s due back in court later this month.
