Police ID woman killed in Wayne County crash

A 62-year-old Newark woman was killed in a motorcycle crash Monday morning. It happened in Williamson, Wayne County on Routes 104 and 21.

We’re told a motorcycle and pickup truck collided around 11:45 a.m. According to police, Sandra Cummings was southbound on Lake Avenue at Route 104 when a northbound vehicle on State Route 21 failed to yield the right of way, hitting her motorcycle. Cummings was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the other vehicle, 17-year-old Jacob Scribner of Williamson, was ticketed for failure to yield the right of way.
