Wayne County man charged with selling crack to undercover officers

The Wayne County Narcotics Enforcement Team says a 28-year-old Lyons man was arrested after he sold crack to undercover officers on several occasions.

Deputies say Martin Smallwood is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal sale of a controlled substance. News10NBC is told Smallwood was arrested in Lyons after a several month long investigation into the distribution of crack cocaine in the village. During the investigation, deputies say Smallwood sold crack to WayneNet undercover officers on multiple occasions.

Smallwood was arrested on Friday and is expected to be arraigned in Wayne County Court next week.
