New York State Police mourn the loss of one of their own

The New York State Police are mourning the loss of one of their own today.
 
Trooper Amanda Anna was killed when she lost control of her patrol car and flipped over on county route 37 in the town of Hastings.

This was around 11:30 last night.

State Police say Trooper Anna hit a guardrail and her car became air born and flipped several times.

She was taken to Upstate University Medical Center in Syracuse for a severe head injury, but passed away early this morning.
    
Trooper Anna was a 6 year veteran of the New York State Police.
    
She leaves behind a fiancé and 4 year old son.

Amanda Anna was 31 years old.
