Fireworks return to Greece this year

The fireworks display in Greece is back for 2012.

“The Spirit of America Celebration”, will be held at Grace & Truth SportsPark on North Greece Road in Hilton on July 4.

Event organizers say for the first year since its inception, they are asking every family to do their part to keep the fireworks in Greece. A $10 donation per car for on-site parking is being asked. Parking is limited so there will be a shuttle service that runs from First Bible Baptist Church on Manitou Road to the event. The cost of the shuttle is $2 per person (round trip) and kids under five are free.

In 2011, there wasn’t enough funding to put on the fireworks show.
