Heart attack patients and medication

Many heart attack survivors are not taking their medicine properly after getting released from the hospital.
The study from Vanderbilt University also found that patients who work with a pharmacist still make mistakes.
Researchers found that one out of every two patients had a major medication error within 30 days of leaving the hospital.
Experts say the patients in the study were well-educated and that more work needs to be done to help patients safely keep track of their medication.
Another study found that nearly one million adults who suffer a heart attack need to go back to the hospital within the first 30 days of recovery.
