Motorcycle collides with Rochester fire truck

A Rochester fire truck was involved in a crash with a motorcycle on the City’s west side.

Police say the truck was making a wide right turn from West Main Street onto Brown Street. It was in the left lane, turning right when the motorcycle ran into the back of the truck.

The motorcyclist was taken to Rochester General Hospital.

The fire truck did not have its lights or sirens on at the time.

No tickets have been issued but police say the crash is still under investigation.
