A local motorcycle club cruised through Rochester today, but it was more than just a ride. The Blue Knights Motorcycle club were riding this morning to bring gifts to sick children at the Golisano Children's Hospital. The club, which is made up of former law enforcement officers, wanted to give the children something to help make there stay at the hospital a little bit better.
"It's to see that the children who don't have people to come and visit them because of other obligations," says Patrick Andrews, a member of the Blue Knights. "This is an opportunity for them to have something to ease their time while they're here getting healthy."
Andrews knows a little about what it's like for children at the hospital. His daughter passed away at Golisano eight years ago.
