Good news for anyone looking to buy a home -- fixed mortgage rates have dropped again.
The average rate on a 30-year fixed loan fell to a record 3.56-percent, down from 3.62-percent last week.
Fifteen-year mortgage rates, popular for people who want to refinance, dropped to 2.68-percent.
Cheaper mortgage rates have helped boost the housing market this year.
