nullFirefighters responded to a fire at 1051 Fairport Road at 9 a.m. this morning. When crews arrived they saw some smoke coming from the roof. Once inside, the firefighters found a man whom they pulled from the house and was then taken to Strong Hospital. Officials now say that the man they found is dead, but the cause of his death is unclear at this time.

Firefighters say that the house fire was not major when they arrived and it had apparently "smothered itself out." The cause of the fire is still under investigations.
