nullInvestigators are looking into the fire that took the life of one woman early Sunday morning in Irondequoit. Officials are currently unsure of the cause but the fire marshal says they have found several items of concern in the house. Investigators have spent Sunday sifting through rubble and collecting items trying to figure out the origin and cause of the blaze. Police were also on scene interviewing witnesses, and neighbors.

From the street, the house doesn't look in terrible condition but the fire marshal says the real damage was in the house's rear.

Neighbor say they noticed at first a small amount of smoke coming from the house but that quickly intensified. Neighbors also wish they could have saved the victim and say they were shocked to learn that anyone was living in the house.

"It's scary. It really is scary," says Michael Sweeney, who witnessed the fire. "I really didn't think she lived there. She's been gone for about two months probably. They were moving stuff in and out."

We are still waiting for the police to release the identity of the victim.
