Police: Baby overdosed, woman charged

nullA Canandaigua woman has been arrested after she gave an infant a prescription drug causing the child to overdose. 

Amanda S. Wallace, 30, of Jefferson Avenue in Canandaigua is charged with endangering the welfare of a child. 

Canandaigua Police say Wallace recklessly allowed a 10-month-old child to ingest a prescription drug, which caused the child to overdose. The child was treated at Thompson Hospital and was then transferred to Strong Hospital.

Wallace was released on an appearance ticket.
