The 21st Annual Dance and Music Festival continued Sunday in Ganondagan. The event teaches people about Native American history and culture through dance, music, and art work. People can also take tours of Ganondagan and create their own traditional Native American toys.
"I think lots of people are interested in what we're doing here at Ganondagan," says Perry Ground, Friends of Ganondagan Vice President. "Learning about Native American people like myself and all of our history and culture and they feel a very special connection to our mother the earth when they come here to this very special place."
We're told the event continues to grow and more people come each year and now visitors will have even more to experience. Officials announced Sunday they will soon break ground on a new Art and Culture Center in Ganondagan which is slated to open in the fall of 2013.
