Health insurance rebate
Posted at: 07/30/2012 6:43 AM
Nearly 13-million Americans are getting a refund from their health insurer.
The average check will total about a $151, according to at Kiplinger.
The money is the result of a rule in the health care reform law mandating how much money insurers can use for overhead and profit. The rebates have to be made by Wednesday.
The money may be taxable.
