Congressman John Boehner in Rochester for Maggie Brooks fundraiser

Speaker of the House John Boehner will be in Rochester Saturday attending a fundraiser for Maggie Brooks. Boehner will be assisting Brooks, the current Monroe County Executive, as she takes on Louise Slaughter for the 25th Congressional District seat.
Earlier this week, Slaughter's campaign released a statement about the visit, criticizing the County Executive's choice to hold the fundraiser with the well known Republican Congressman. The campaign also accused Brooks of aligning herself with groups that put large corporate interest before Monroe County residence.
