Barn burns down in Lima

Livingston Country Sheriff's Office says that a barn was destroyed in a fire Saturday evening in the Town of Lima. Police say Robert Yorks and his son Gary Yorks were in the barn working on a truck inside the barn on Heath Markham Road. The truck caught fire and eventually spread to the barn.

Police say several fire departments responded, including Lima, and East Avon, but they were unable to save the barn which was a total loss.

Officials say nobody was hurt during the incident. Sheriff's Deputies are still investigating the fire.
