Rochester firefighters were called to a house fire on North Goodman Street.
The call came in around 9:20 p.m. Thursday for a fire at a multi-family home there.
Fire officials told News10NBC that a bedroom in an upstairs apartment was on fire.
The fire was under control in about half an hour. There was some damage to the second and third floor of the home.
The Battalion Chief said a tenant in one of the downstairs apartment tried to put out the flames with an extinguisher, but the extinguisher was not working.
No-one was injured in the fire. The cause of the fire is still unknown.
