Two Rochester families are safe but are unable to return home Monday morning after a fire at their house on Breck Street.
Investigators say the fire broke out on the second floor at around 11:15 p.m. Sunday. They say everyone was still awake and made it out safely. Firefighters say the heat from the flames was so intense, it damaged the siding of the house next door.
The Red Cross says it is providing shelter, food, clothing and medicine for five adults and one child.
Investigators are still trying to determine what caused the fire.
