nullNew York State Police have arrested a Rochester man who they say is a former staff member of Hillside Children's Center.

Police say Matthew King, 29, was arrested on five counts of criminal sexual act and four counts of endangering the welfare of a child. According to police, the charges stem from accusations that King had sexual contact with a 15-year-old resident of Hillside Children Center, while King was working as a Youth Care Professional.

Hillside issued a statement Friday saying, "The allegation is deeply concerning to Hillside Family of Agencies and we are taking this matter very seriously.  The safety and security of our youth is our top priority and we are continually working to ensure that they receive the best care. We are working closely with New York State Police and the Office of Children and Family Services to conduct a comprehensive investigation into this situation."

King was taken to the Monroe County Jail, and police say he will be arraigned Friday morning.
