Wayne County man accused of trashing his own home

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office says they have arrested a Sodus Point man after he was accused of trashing his own home. Sheriff’s Deputies say that 42-year-old Jerry P. Markham Jr. smashed a television, broke a vacuum cleaner, dumped garbage and used cat litter throughout the house he shares with his wife.

Deputies say they arrested Markham for criminal mischief and he was arraigned in the Town of Sodus Court. He was remanded to the Wayne County Jail and will return to the Town of Sodus Court on September 5 to answer his charges.
