Seneca Falls woman accused of rape in court Tuesday

nullA 45-year-old Seneca Falls woman accused of rape is scheduled to appear in court Tuesday afternoon.

Dawn Planty is charged with second-degree rape and endangering the welfare of a child. According to police, an investigation determined that Planty gave a teen alcohol and then had sex with him.

Police say Planty called 911 asking about the age of consent, and then reported her own crime.
