Three local colleges receive federal grants

nullGreat news for local three colleges. Senators Chuck Schumer and Kirsten Gillibrand announced that $775,000 in federal grants will be split between RIT, U of R and the College at Brockport, to encourage under-represented youth to pursue graduate degrees.

The funding will focus on degrees in science, technology, engineering and math.
