Preview of Fashion Week at Parkleigh, Park Avenue

It's shopping for a good cause, and it's also a preview of fashion week.

On Thursday, a special event was held at Parkleigh, on Park Avenue, to raise money for the center for youth.

Guests got a chance to see new styles of Vera Bradley Designer Bags.

10% of Thursday's proceeds will go to the Center for Homeless Program that serves young people in the Rochester area.

Elaine Spaul, the Center for Youth's Executive Director, says, "Every time we have a chance to focus on our kids, to find ways to help our kids, particularly those most at risk, and this is a creative way to do it, don't you think? This is an amazing creative way to do it… raising funds for homelessness through Parkleigh's launch of Vera Bradley.”

The Center for Youth is hoping to raise $100,000 dollars during Fashion Week.
