The old East Avenue Inn is getting a facelift as part of the renovation process.

The circular portion on the front of the hotel is slated to be removed and replaced possibly by a two-story front with a balcony or a raised first floor ceiling.

The 10,000-square-foot building houses a physical therapy office whose lease expires in March next year. Most of the rest of the space is used as storage while renovations continue on the hotel's rooms and lobby.

You can read more about the renovations by picking up a copy of the Rochester Business Journal on Friday.
