Two arrested in Whitney Street homicide

Two Rochester men have been arrested in connection with the death of a 27-year-old Rochester man.

Miles Mitchell, 23, and 25-year-old James Hillyard are charged with murder and robbery.

Rochester Police say the victim – 27-year-old Joshua Groat – was found beaten and shot in a used car sales lot on Whitney Street.

Police credit the community for providing information which led to the arrests of Mitchell and Hillyard.
