St. John Fisher College opens doors to class of 2016

The Labor Day weekend marks the unofficial end of summer, but it also marks a new beginning for students at St. John Fisher College.

Fisher opened its doors to the class of 2016 this morning.

More than 800 new students and their families enjoyed a picnic, family fair and orientation meetings.

Despite the hectic schedule, the students we spoke to were very excited to begin their semester.

Theresa Pope, a mother, says, “It’s chaotic, but exciting… great to be at Fisher.”

To wrap it all up, students attended a ceremony where they signed the Fisher creed, officially beginning their four years at the college.
