Gates Police have released the identity of a man who they say helped a homicide suspect escape.
Police say Travaris Johnson is charged with felony reckless endangerment after he led them on a chase through the city Friday afternoon. Police used spike strips to stop his car. Another man jumped out of the car and took off on foot. Police say that person is a suspect in the murder of 19-year-old Montre Bradley.
Bradley was shot and killed on an attempted robbery at around 4 a.m. Friday while he waited for the release of a new sneaker at a store on Chili Avenue in Gates.
