Dunkin Donuts and the Red Wings donate 288 pounds of coffee

Foodlink is on a caffeine kick thanks to Dunkin Donuts and the Rochester Red Wings.

On Monday, Dunkin Donuts and the Red Wings donates 288 pounds of coffee to Foodlink. It was all part of the "Runs for Coffee" initiative.

For every run that the red wings scored during the season, Dunkin Donuts would donate a pound of coffee.

Martha Brown from Foodlink says, "288 pounds of coffee is a huge donation for Foodlink. We service 450 human service agencies, 230,000 families every single year. So donations like this really do go a long way for us."

288 pounds of coffee equals nearly 20,000 cups of coffee.
