Ellen DeGeneres to receive star on Hollywood Walk of Fame

Comedienne and talk-show host Ellen DeGeneres gets her star today on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

She is being honored for her TV work including her daily talk show you can see on News10NBC and the 1990's sitcom "Ellen."  

DeGeneres recently hosted the 79th Academy Awards and was nominated for a primetime Emmy Award.

Her star will be located on Hollywood Boulevard in front of the West Hollywood Hotel.
