Staff, faculty at Fairport to remember Heather Boyum

Classes in the Fairport School District begin Wednesday but today, faculty and staff will remember Heather Boyum, a Fairport biology teacher killed earlier this summer.

They will receive ribbons at the welcome meeting and wear them in honor of their late colleague.

Boyum was riding her bicycle when she was hit by motorcycle and then a car. Both drivers are facing charges.
